Research Interests

My current research is focused on emotion regulation in children with High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder, and investigating parental co-regulation as a potential mechanism of treatment efficacy following cognitive behavioural therapy. Specifically, I will be looking at the changes in children’s emotion regulation skills and internalizing/externalizing problems (e.g. anxiety, hyperactivity) in relation to the quality of parent scaffolding and frequency of co-regulation strategies use.
